Hooray for Sheep Farming!

As with the other books in the series, this book provides a nice overview of sheep and wool production. It depicts the diets of sheep, the work of sheep dogs, shearing, guard animals, sheep breeds and the measures taken to keep sheep healthy. An interesting photo depicts the complete fleece shorn from a sheep being held by two girls. The book concludes with a short glossary and information about carding and spinning wool into yarn. This book is a well written and illustrated source of information.
