From Egg to Chicken

By Robin Nelson

This is one in a series of books depicting the various plant and animal sources of food and fibers. As an early reader book, the content is minimal but fairly accurate. Each page has one to five sentences. The major flaw in the book is that all of the images are of free-range chickens and old fashioned methods of egg hatching and chick rearing. The book ends with a glossary.
