Ag Day is celebrated on March 19, 2024, and we have some ideas on how to celebrate!
National Ag Day celebrates agriculture and its importance in each of our lives! Here at the Foundation, we work hard to increase agricultural literacy among educators, students, and the general public because we understand the value of agriculture.
Whether you are looking for ways to celebrate Ag Day on March 19 or just looking for fun agriculture-related activities, here are some great ideas and resources!
- Feeding Minds Press has a whole blog with ideas. One of our favorites from the list is getting active with animal charades and winding down reading Barn at Night.
- Play a My American Farm game like Ag Across America, which explores farms across the country.
- Our free e-learning modules have undergone accessibility updates to reach an even wider audience. Explore a dairy parlor, a beehive, ag careers and more!
- For younger kids, do a Food and Farm Facts activity. For older kids (and adults!), play Food and Farm Facts jeopardy!
