Free At Home Educational Activities About Agriculture: Week 3

This week’s at home educational activities are all about pollinators!

1. K-2 Science & English Language Arts

Play My American Farm's game, The Buzz! In this game, players will travel to "Pollinatorville" and discover the important role bees and butterflies play in food production. Also, hone K-2 English Language Arts skills with the accompanying Sweet Pollination activity sheet.

2. Grades 6-8 English Language Arts

Learn about honeybees and beekeeping in this blog series: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

Before you read: Write a few sentences about what you know about honeybees.

Then read the blog series. Compare what you learned to what you already knew. Write down the new knowledge then share with someone!

3. Grades 5-12 Science

Are you up to the challenge? In this Purple Plow Puzzler, build a honeycomb hive that can hold 5 pounds!

4. Grades 5-12 English Language Arts
