Welcome to our At Home Learning Page! We will do our best to offer weekly ideas for at home learning about agriculture! These activities will all be free to access and share. Our weekly activities do not build on each other, but are individual and can be done in any order.

This week we are looking at pumpkins!

Pumpkins are a fall/harvest staple, but how do they grow? Watch this video to find out!

What is it like to be a pumpkin farmer? Read this letter from a real farmer to find out!

Make a pumpkin bird feeder. This is a great craft and science project. After you make the bird feeder you can make a journal of observations. What kinds of birds stop by? What other observations can you make?

After you scoop out those pumpkin seeds you can toast them and enjoy them! Pumpkin seeds have iron, zinc and magnesium.
