This Farm

This is an early-reader book with short question/and or statement sentences. The questions are not answered in text but the students can find the answers in the accompanying photograph. While the content is minimal this would be a very good book for a teacher to use to begin to teach reading for content and developing observation skills and question answering for the earliest learners. It could also be used as an interactive reading activity between parent and young child to develop their observation skills and have a participatory reading experience for the child. The Spanish/ English edition has the sentence in both Spanish and English on each page. This is most useful for helping Spanish-speaking children to learn English.
