I Drive a Tractor

By Sarah Bridges

Students can learn a great deal about tractors by having this book read to them or reading it themselves. Modern tractor technology, structure, and operation are accompanied by how a tractor functions. The authors have wisely included some tractor safety information such as the slow-moving vehicle sign and what it signifies. The driver explains how he courteously and safely uses the road, aware of cars that may want to pass. While the book depicts only one person on the tractor, it does not actually address this issue. The book includes a vocabulary list.
