Farm Animals - Goats

This early reader book provides very basic information about goats. It identifies goats as part of a series about farm animals. This is one of the few books in that series that we are recommending. Why? Because this is a topic not commonly found but a growing segment of agriculture for meat and milk. The text consists of only one or two sentences per page in large type but what it contains is largely accurate. The one area for concern is that goats can climb trees easily. The photo shown does depict this but they can't climb trees as other animals can. The book ends with a glossary, additional resources and Web sites.
